2013: i got kind of crazy with my note-writing and winter retreat, i started recording my life in poetry/pulling all-nighters. i was hospitalized again :( but i got lots of support. even though it was an awful school year, i had a wonderful birthday and summer break full of rest, stability, and satisfaction. junior year started out kind of boring, but i enjoyed and appreciated how well life was treating me:).
2014: and now it's just been getting better and better. junior year ended successfully and i'm super excited for senior year. plus Taiwan has been a blast. I'm also looking forward to XC season with our new coaches :).
The Book Thief
The Fault in Our Stars
Despicable Me
Lemonade Mouth
Mulan (did you know it was actually based on a true Chinese story? cool beans, no? or should i say cool rice...)
Tangled
Frozen
i should post the trailers/songs for these movies... hm. we'll see. :)
- don't give up on XC--I want to finish XC senior year strong.
- keep passion with art and piano. those are the things that keep me level-headed and insanely sane :)
- lean on God and always know he is controlling whategver situation I'm in. :)
Highs-
Exams went quite well. Helped out at a different church's VBS for the first time and had quite a blast (even if I missed three days). Also finally got used to running on nearly a daily basis. The best high was probably finally arriving and walking in Taiwan. I love it here so so so so so much... and my mom's birthday and food and actually having access to a piano and family and hugs and TV series and happiness and laughter.
Lows-
I was actually really bad with my running habits, but I got over that. Then it was my sleeping habits. I don't know why but I always feel like I never get enough sleep even though I clearly have. For example. Three kids came to my house for babysitting/playing, and I slept for an hour of the four hours they were there. I felt really bad. Eep. Riding the airplane was kind of rough. Landing after 12.5 hours is quite nerve-wracking. Also, my mom almost passed out today. Other than that, the highs outweigh the lows. I promise.
