-JoAnn :)
Hi's everybody!!!!! I haven't been on the computer in two days, even if the last time I posted was several days ago. I've just been working on this really pointless (:P) site. And...chatting with my friends...and...running cross country (WOOT!) and going to school!!! Yeah, there's only been two days of school, but still, I don't know why I'm still super busy. Maybe cuz on the first day I had piano class too....and as I said I have cross country every weekday. It's worth it though, cuz it's so fun!! So what am I gonna talk about today? Cross country!!! // School // Home // anything else :) Yay, all fun topics! Cross country!!!!||it's been so funnn lately. :) The best thing I ever did in cross country, was chuggin' up that hill. It pushed me, cuz if you give up on a hill, you're just gonna fall and die. So, it was fun and awesome. And when I was going downhill, I passed like LOADS of people. It was so fun though, I was going so fast!! My legs were like kicking my own butt! (That's how fast I was going xD) What else...oh yes! I ran a race today, two miles. I beat my time from the last time we ran two miles (which was obviously the last time I posted). Yeah, cross country gets better and better. :) School||It's taking so much space in my journal- that means it's really interesting. :) On the first day, yay! I did not get lost this year!! Ok so I started this blog in January right? That means I didn't talk about my 6th grade first day. Well I did in the weekly topic, but I'm talking about it here too. I was lost on the first day of sixth grade. haha, laugh all ya want but it was really sad cuz I was almost late. And everyone stared me down when I walked into the room, and everyone made fun of me at home/church. :P So I'm very, very happy that I didn't get lost this year. Plus this girl Ruby is hangin' out with my friend Julianne and me. :) Fun times. And....the first day was sorta freaky since it took me like 4 hours to fall asleep, but the second day was okay/better. :) BONUS! I have to wake up so early!!!!! AGH!!!!! I can't even sleep in on weekends because on Saturdays I have my cross country races and on Sunday I have church!!! -__- Home||Hmmm...I sleep once I get home. I mean, I'm tired, after cross country and school! But my mom said that's gonna mess up my sleeping routine so I can't do that anymore. I have to take a shower, then do homework, practice piano/violin, and then eat, and then others, and THEN I can sleep. Oh, that reminds me, orchestra starts on Monday for me!! Yay, I can't wait to go back. :) Hmmm...oh, my brother finished this HUGE bowl of cereal a few minutes ago. It was funny. :D And...hmm.. we got a bunch of new clothes for me. Hehe. And, as I mentioned, it's the first time I got on after two days. Yeah, wowza! Also, HAPPY BIRTHDAY JONATHAN!!!!!! Today's his birthday. :] anything else||Oh, I just got this really pretty green (as y'all should know I LOVE green!!) theme for my browser- firefox. It's got loads of normal (:P) green and the current tab you're on is a pretty lime green. And then everything else is like the go-green-save-the-earth type of stuff. It's really cool. And...I'm listening to a playlist on my youtube account, and considering how I should display the stuff I shared today. Hehe. What else what else!? Ohhh......my elementary gym teacher died.....I'm sooooooo sad. He was so awesome, I'm dead serious. Ahhhh don't make me cry peeps. RIP MR. STONEBERGER. :( :( Um... tomorrow I'm moving up from my children program at church to youth group. Ih, I feel strange about it, graduating from sixth grade. Remember I graduated from Chinese school too? It just feels so odd. :/ -JoAnn :)

Yay! I might have time to post the rest of my summer! Here are my plans:
MY TAIWAN TRIP!First we went to the, uh, airport closest to us (I'm saying that for the sake of Internet Safety) and then arrived in Dallas. And then we arrived in Tokyo. And then in TAIWAN! I finished a book in Tokyo. It was awesome. Plus the food was really good. :) (on the airplanes...or some of them) Aaack, I was sleepy. I listened to my iPod, and when my cousins came I woke up. Hehe, they said it was so scary how much I grew. Yeah! Nice! I'm almost taller than them, and almost all of them are older than me! Woot! The next day that we arrived was already MY MOM'S BIRTHDAY! We went to a spesho restaurant and this mall that probably a lot of Taiwan people know about- it's pronounced [wu fen pu]. Lottttts of clothes/shoes were bought, for my cousins/aunt/mom. :) I GOT NEW GLASSES! They're pink and not too thick and well they help me see better, like most glasses. xD I also got new pens. Yay! The colors were teal, orange, blue, green, and purple. :) OMG THE BUG INCIDENTS! These were HILARIOUS.
Changhua is probably where my closest cousins live. I was sick when I arrived-- stuffy nose (my bro turned up the A/C too much) and sore throat (from screaming at my freak of a bro). But that didn't stop me from ANYTHING. So. It was my aunt's birthday when we arrived, and we lived in this HUGE GINORMOUS hotel! It was awesome! I wish I had pictures! D= Anyway so there were like 3 spas in the bathroom and the bathroom was like as big as the room which was HUGE and there were two like bigger than king-sized beds! And there was a karaoke machine! Awesome! The hotel was just too cool. :D Awww, we left Changhua! But then we went to Pingtung, where my dad's aunt lives. We arrived really late, and the next day, I HAVE A BLOODY NOSE! OMG! That's like my first bloody nose this year! And my great-aunt said I might have a fever. :'( Then we visited my great-grandma at this nursing home. LOL, she thought my brother was my dad. That's really good though, she's like 97! O.o And then we left for Tainan. Tainan is where my dad's sister lives. They took us to a Korean restaurant! I've never eaten at a Korean restaurant before...at least...I don't think I have... but anyway, it was real yummy and stuff. :) And we lived in a 6-star hotel. LOL. Apparently that is possible! So this day I went to the doctor's at Tainan. I got medicine, I believe. I felt like my nose was having surgery, the doctor was like digging into my nose. Ewww. And he said if I blow really hard on this one nostril, I might break a blood vessel! OMG! EW! We went to Kaoshiung because all my mom's friends were having this reunion dinner thing. My medicine was not swallowed as successfully.... We went back to Pingtung to live with my mom's friend. They have a big house. o.o I went to this pastor-that-used-to-be-my-church-pastor's church. And then he let us live at his house. I HAD A MEDICINE MIRACLE! I prayed, as I do before I eat, that I could swallow my medicine. AND OMG, I swallow my frigin medicine! Even one that's like ginormous! I swallowed it! All of it! o.O It's so cool. Then we went to the Dream Mall, biggest mall in Asia (so to speak). Aaaand we looked at the world games stuff. I remember the Love River. It was pretty. And fireworks! Bravo! They were awesome. :) Yay! I slept for 13 hours! I like sleeping. :D In fact, I had this awesome/exciting dream. Before heading back to Keelung, we went to some world games place, and took a few pics. It was cool. And then we rode the High Speed Rail, a dooper fast train! It only took us like two hours, and if you look up at that map, that's pretty quick! I also got a yoyo card, or a card that I can use instead of paying for tickets all the time on trains/buses/subway (only in Taipei) which is pretty useful. So if you plan on traveling around in Taiwan a lot, get a yoyo card! MY FIRST MOTORCYCLE RIDE THIS YEAR!!!! It was only like a minute, but it was fun! :) My cousin Michael (that's 21 or older o.o) drove me. :) Also, the bathtub broke. At least it's not the only one... and lastly, we saw this NEARLY FOUR INCH wide spider!!!! My brother tried to kill it, but it eventually went under the bed. My mom said the last time she saw it, it was heading upstairs.... We went to this closing ceremony for some summer camp. It was hot (in temperature), but I have to say, it was pretty good (the show). We also got a lucky bus! It's kinda hard to explain...so... I GOT MY SECOND MOTORCYCLE RIDE!!!! This time it was much much longer, and plus it included all the hills and stuffs. Yay! :) I got some name stickers too, so I can stick em all over stuff that belongs to me. :D We went to Taipei to find my dad's sister again. We ate what's voted the number one noodles in Taiwan!!!! Well, I didn't, but my mom and my brother or some of my family did. And also! I got a souvenir, a little clippy-stand thing. :D It's awesome! [a li shan] (how you pronounce it) is a mountain. We rode a bus for six hours to get there, and when we did, overnight, we looked at the stars. It was so pretty! I can't even express it! It was just so gorgeous and cold. :D Next morning (like at 3AM) we saw a sunrise!!!!! So cool!!! And then we walked a lot, slept a lot (or at least I did), and....I ate some sushi. Plus we rode a train. Yay. And then we rode a bus back to Keelung and I got to watch the closing ceremony for the world games. :) WOOT! I slept for fifteen hours! Yeahhhhhh! We rode a bus to Taipei, ate at this restaurant that seems really famous (since Australian people are going to it), and rode a bus back to Keelung. We rode a bus to Taipei. We went to 2 malls, and the first one I liked more cuz I went in this blow-up-playset-thing. It was funnnn. There was this one spesho little girl. Teeheehee. There were also LONG WALKS and OREOS!!!!! Next day we went to Digital Plaza and COSTCO. ??? We went to Keelung, and then the next day drove back to Taipei, and we went to.... TAIPEI 101!!!! I was on the 89th/91st/90th floors. The views were amazing! So pretty and cool and 100% real. :D My cousin Christine came! :> I was so happy. I had a [dan bao fan] (literally means egg wrapped rice) for lunch at Taipei 101. Then we went from the computer show (which was SO crowded) to Taipei 101 to a mall called New York New York. We strode around til we got to Coldstone ice cream place and ate some really yummy ice cream! Last exciting place we went to was a school supply store with lots of interesting stuff. :) LOL. =D I woke up at 2:30 PM!!!!! YEAHHHHH! I had a [dan bao fan] dinner. :) And then I rode a train with Christine (my cousin, remember?) to Changhua and we arrived at like 12 midnight. :) Christine sleeptalks a lot. LOL. It's funny, though, really. :D I HAD MY THIRD MOTORCYCLE RIDE!!!!! It was awwwwwesome! And then at like 11pm we went back to Keelung. :) Wow, I am a sleeper. I woke up at 2pm. =D Wow. There was a buffet-family-reunion-dinner thing. :) Almost the whole side of my mom's family was there. It was so yummy! I'm not gonna go into details, because I'm very tired after typing all this. >-< On the way back 'home' (heehee) we had a little dilemma. You see, my brother was sent 'home' early and he couldn't open the door because he thought my grandpa wasn't home. So he called my mom, and my mom called my aunt that took my grandpa home. She said she already dropped my grandpa off, so then my mom called my grandpa and told him to open the door. Finally my mom called my brother to let him know Grandpa was opening the door soon. LOL. Very interesting. I went to sleep at 3am, and woke up at 5am. Last day. We ate breakfast at the airport, and said our goodbyes.... So that was my Taiwan trip. Wow. It was fun! I hope you enjoyed reading! :) Wow, that took very long. I had to look in my little schedule book because I put all the important events in the schedule book and then I had to think real, real hard about what happened. Oh well, it was worth it, I hope!
Time to talk about the rest of my summer-- so far! Hmm... church was hilarious. Very hard to explain, so just email me if you wanna know. :) ACK! Cross country, day one, painful. Oh well, afterwards I got to have a chocolate malt from UDF and a bowl-burrito-thing from Qdoba! YUMMY. Ooh, last Wednesday, my site finally published. It was all messed up before it did. I was so happy. And I got to talk with Yoojin after like over a month! YAY! And...Jonathan linked my site!! YAYYY! On Thursday, we sent my mom to the airport because her boss passed away and she had to go to the funeral. Aww.... Eeep. Friday was sad. The song I'm posting made me worse, but I still listened to it because the music//beat was awesome. Click HERE to watch it! (The song is called Down by Jay Sean ft. Lil Wayne) Then on the car there were radio wars with my brother. He switched someplace, I switched back to where we originally were. Rather annoying. But he won the war. D: There was an open house at my house (lol I made a pun!) on Saturday. This quote I'm about to write, it matched me perfectly: "It's not really happiness that makes the tears. It's everything all at once, everything that's sad, good, and wonderful. But the wonderful things mean much more than the sad things." It was something like that.... but it was just talking about how everything isn't perfect, but you're still crying because the things that seem perfect are just winning over. Yeah. And Yoojin, my awesome friend, you were a great help! Thankies! On Sunday there were chair wars. Very funny, but weird... Cross country yesterday! I was dying (as usual) but my legs didn't hurt, so I think I'm getting used to it, because my legs didn't hurt today either. YAYYY! I got to chat with loooooads of people. Oddly, they were all from my old school. Some were from church, but most of them were from my old school. And...hmm.. I'm a staffie on Wenganator's Site now! Yay! I'm so happy he invited me to be staffy. :) And then...hmm... I was tired.. Yeah, that's about it for yesterday. And today! Today, I did my best in Cross Country and that's why I'm so happy. And... that's about it! I got to chat with some friends, enjoy summer, eat cookies, and live my ok-ish life. :) HAHA. There's like 30 words underlined in red-- I'm so bad at spelling, huh? JK. It's probably a weird computer. The computer doesn't understand me. ALSO! Important info about this website! I FINISHED THE HOMEPAGE! I finished my credits speech, I put together a quick support picture, I finished the guides part, and I believe that's all I had to do. Yay, I finished! ABOUT THE FUTURE! You see, school is starting soon, and well, as you can tell, I have cross country, eh? And well, I found out, it's gonna be... 2:30-4:00pm, right after school. (DON'T STALK ME.) So... that means.... not much time on the computer. Does that stink or what? Because, well, I have homework, piano, and violin too! Ok, on the bright side, Cross Country ends in like October. But still, like 2 months of no blogging//weekly topic//debate? That's kinda pitiful. So, sorry ahead of time if I don't post as much, but as you can see, I'm progressing into the age where school will kill you. JK. But still, I'll be on when I can! Hope y'all enjoyed this dooper long post! -JoAnn :D Hi everybody. Today I'm in a much better mood after crying my head off and listening to music last night. Mm-hmm. I'm much, much better, and I wouldn't necessarily say I'm happy, or hyper, or colorful, I'm just....content today. And that wasn't in the little mood graphics today. So, just saying, I'm content. AND TODAY I'M POSTING BOUT MY SUMMER!!!!!! Yes!!!!! I'm so excited. This summer was really great (except for yesterday of course ugh), so I really am excited to post. And anyway, just a quick but huge THANK YOU to YOOJIN for the comment it was really nice and helpful and very much like you. :D thanks!!!! Time to get started. I'm so excited! Again! -runs off to get her journal and a bunch of other stuff- Whoa, thick stack. o.o my 11th journal, my 10th journal, an ordinary notebook, and a blank notebook (sorta a sketchbook but it looks like a notebook somehow). OK I really better get going. `took place 6/22 to 6/29` VBS IS AWESOME! I went to it every year I could. It lasts for one week, and every day we do the following: worship, crafts, games, snacks, missionary story, and a lesson. By the way, that's the order I'll be telling each day about. Like, for each day, I'm gonna write #1 or #2 and so on, and #1 represents worship, #2 represents crafts, etc. Yeahhhh. My favorites out of all of them? I like the crafts, snacks, and missionary story. :) OK, moving on to the first day!!! **Most of these will be quotes from my journal. :)** DAY ONE
DAY TWO
DAY THREE
DAY FOUR
DAY FIVE (Aww. It's the last day!)
And that's about it people! There was a carnival, but if you really want to know what happened, just email me and I'll give you a brief overview of what's in my journal. There was also a picnic...but that's when I fell down the hill. HAHAHA. :D So, because I fell down the hill I don't remember much bout the picnic. JUST KIDDING. Just don't ask about it, because the carnival is interesting enough. Thanks for reading! AHHH! I just spent like 40 minutes typing that up! And now I only have 10 minutes left on the computer! AHHHHH!
What to do...what to do... Obviously, I'm not going to type up anything else about my summer. I'm just gonna post that some other day, as any other smart person would do. By the way peoples, I'm not sure if I want to post about my summer retreat, because most of the stuff is rather embarrassing. Like one time, I accidentally(!!) put these cards on Jonathan's place-that-only-boys-have (I did say by accident right??) and then he ran after me screaming at me. And this other time, we had this embarrassing food-eating contest and people ate baby food. Some guys puked their food back out. EW!!!! And then this other time I said "I thought spam was stuff in emails!!" (little did I know it was a food too) and the leader was like "Hey that's really good!" And I was cracking up cuz I really meant that, not as a joke. And then another time, I screamed at bugs. And tried to climb this huge rock. I climbed on trees too. With Wendy, Stephy, and Jennifer. :) And I had root beer floats every meal. It's not something you get everyday you know. And then this other time Jennifer was like "I'm going under here." and I was like "Under where?". HAHAHA. Hey, basically, I just posted about my summer retreat! I think that's enough embarrassing moments. Oh, last one is that my cousins (that are boys) were singing to Nobody's Perfect by Hannah Montana. It was sososo funny!!!!! I think that's enough summer retreat events. Yay, I typed up half of my plans today! I'm in a much better mood bringing up these happy things too. Yay!!!!!! So the next time I can, I will try to type about Taiwan (just some extremely important events ((to me)) like yummy foods or important places/people). And then I will post about anything else that would be just as important to type up. So the next colors I will use: GREEN and PINK. Watermelon colors! xD those are not my words, those are my friend Samia's words. :) Bye for now, I hope y'all enjoyed this post! :) Gonna do some home page stuff for y'all. Thanks for reading this far!! -JoAnn :) Why am I sad? It's post #70. Already! And I'm sad.
Well don't ask, thank you. Cuz if you do, I'm gonna add angry onto that list up there. Or even sick. Cuz if you make me talk bout what's making me sad, I'll feel sick. You don't want puke on yourself now do you? Well.. today, I was planning on putting final touches and stuff about my awesome summer and today it just all....clashed. I'm not in the mood to do anything on my site today. Aw. It sucks. So you know what, guys? I'm just gonna post what I was originally gonna do, and then find some wonderful-er day to do it. Yeah. Obviously, I was gonna post what I did all over my summer. But I was gonna make it into those pretty scrollboxes with beautiful borders and stuff. And each scrollbox would have a theme, which represented a different summer plan. So like my VBS was purple themed, my summer retreat was blue themed, and my Taiwan trip was green themed. And everything else was pink themed. And then I was gonna make pretty images on Paint today. Anything else I was gonna do? Add stuff to my Fun of Life site. I'm willing to do that. Cuz it won't make me sick. It's just a bunch of songs. Most of the songs, are Korean. So I can't understand them. They won't make me sick. So won't classical songs. And worship songs. They just talk bout my God. So they won't make me sick. So right now, I'm going to do the stuff that does not make me sick, and if I have the least bit of happiness come back, I'll post bout my long and awesome summer. Yep. -JoAnn =] Hi everybody. This is a note just to say what has happened lately (to the site) and what I'll do bout talking bout my life/summer. (because I basically missed all of it, and it's now almost over!!!!! NO!!!!!)
By the way, when you see bold it means new topic, or rant, or discussion. ??? Ok. About the site. So, I decided I need a permanent layout. This font and all the other fonts in this layout have the tendency to be in many of my coding things, so I'm hoping really really hoping that this will be the permanent layout. Plus I mixed up the links a bit so that they wouldn't be too plain. Aaaaand you probably noticed there are less pages. So, I'm gonna say where some of the pages went. The random questions page? Gone. It's supposed to be going on the fun stuff page. Maybe I'll get to that. Someday. Who knows. The random topics page? It changed to weekly topic since I only do a topic a week now. Or less. Heheh. Slacking off. A bit. :D The second animals page? Gone. It's been moved over to The first animal page, all the way at the end of the pics from the first original page. Yeahhh. Someday I'll get a link that won't make you scroll a bunch. Now, a bunch of stuff moved to the Fun Stuff page. Like.... the music, the interesting pictures, and I believe that's it. What happened to the How-To page? I decided it was no use. I only got one request, which was basically bout classified/dooper personal stuff, so I decided to close down the page. So basically, everything is still here, just in less pages. Because having a lot of pages can be rather embarrassing. Uh-huh. By the way, I'm still having more changes. Probably just to the way things look. I'm not sharing them on here, for they will be a surprise!! :) Now. About my summer. Oh my gosh. It was like amazing. Too fast though. Like way too fast. How does time pass so fast? Now here were my summer plans:
I HAVE CROSS COUNTRY!!! >-< Cross country is like track, except you don't run in that boring little circle place, you run like you're "crossing a country". Heh. Bad joke. Ah well, the thing is, it kills me!! I can't breathe (I'm not exactly exaggerating), I could've thrown up, and my legs die day after day. The only positive part is that I get to eat more since it makes me soooo hungry, and that it'll make me have reasons to take a shower. But still....I'm wondering...why did I join? I think it's my brother's fault. I like do everything he does (because he claims they are fun, and my mom thinks it's nice that I follow his footsteps). Orchestra. Lacrosse. Those were fun. But cross country??? What the heck??? Grr you Joel. Ahhh well. I'm not the oldest. I don't want to be old anyway. I like my age, right now. I'm scared of wrinkles, flabby skin, and much more zits. At least I'm a girl-- I won't grow a beard. I don't likes beards. Ewww. Moving on. So today, if possible, I will make this dooper special webpage/dooper long post bout my summer. Depends. Cuz my brother keeps saying "POLICE [please-- it's an old joke] GO DO SOMETHING ELSE. POLICE!" And I'll try to make an announcement on the homepage, and do some name games (to catch up :D) at the weekly topic and any... other things I'm not so sure about at the moment. I think I'll post again, if I have time. Probably not, after all these distractions JOEL! You see, he poured water all over me, carried me upstairs, and attacked me with this stuffed animal (:D), and uh.... farted on me!!!!!! I'm like dead serious!!!!!! Yeah bye peoples. Wish me luck in this horrifying life. :) -JoAnn :D P.s. Ok so the wenganator claims his site is up and running again. now what does he want? for you to just go to it. NOW CLICKISH HERE TO GO TO IT. thanks xD |
