- To write about Taiwan (of course :D) in a scrollbox. Yippee. I was originally going to do each event in a table, but that didn't work out so well...
- To write about the rest of my summer in just plain font.
- To adjust the colors of titles and such on this site.
- To make a site with all my sites//with links.
- To make a site with all the sites I recommend.
MY TAIWAN TRIP!
First we went to the, uh, airport closest to us (I'm saying that for the sake of Internet Safety) and then arrived in Dallas. And then we arrived in Tokyo. And then in TAIWAN! I finished a book in Tokyo. It was awesome. Plus the food was really good. :) (on the airplanes...or some of them)
Aaack, I was sleepy. I listened to my iPod, and when my cousins came I woke up. Hehe, they said it was so scary how much I grew. Yeah! Nice! I'm almost taller than them, and almost all of them are older than me! Woot!
The next day that we arrived was already MY MOM'S BIRTHDAY! We went to a spesho restaurant and this mall that probably a lot of Taiwan people know about- it's pronounced [wu fen pu]. Lottttts of clothes/shoes were bought, for my cousins/aunt/mom. :)
I GOT NEW GLASSES! They're pink and not too thick and well they help me see better, like most glasses. xD
I also got new pens. Yay! The colors were teal, orange, blue, green, and purple. :)
OMG THE BUG INCIDENTS! These were HILARIOUS.
- there was this HUGE, SQUIGGLY, HAIRY bug in the kitchen and it scared the frickin crap outta me!!!!!
- there was this cockroach like 2 inches wide, and my eyes went like "o.o" and I said whoa and when my brother saw it he JUMPED and SCREAMED it was sooooooo funny! :D
Changhua is probably where my closest cousins live. I was sick when I arrived-- stuffy nose (my bro turned up the A/C too much) and sore throat (from screaming at my freak of a bro). But that didn't stop me from ANYTHING. So. It was my aunt's birthday when we arrived, and we lived in this HUGE GINORMOUS hotel! It was awesome! I wish I had pictures! D= Anyway so there were like 3 spas in the bathroom and the bathroom was like as big as the room which was HUGE and there were two like bigger than king-sized beds! And there was a karaoke machine! Awesome! The hotel was just too cool. :D
Awww, we left Changhua! But then we went to Pingtung, where my dad's aunt lives. We arrived really late, and the next day, I HAVE A BLOODY NOSE! OMG! That's like my first bloody nose this year! And my great-aunt said I might have a fever. :'(
Then we visited my great-grandma at this nursing home. LOL, she thought my brother was my dad. That's really good though, she's like 97! O.o
And then we left for Tainan. Tainan is where my dad's sister lives. They took us to a Korean restaurant! I've never eaten at a Korean restaurant before...at least...I don't think I have... but anyway, it was real yummy and stuff. :) And we lived in a 6-star hotel. LOL. Apparently that is possible!
So this day I went to the doctor's at Tainan. I got medicine, I believe. I felt like my nose was having surgery, the doctor was like digging into my nose. Ewww. And he said if I blow really hard on this one nostril, I might break a blood vessel! OMG! EW!
We went to Kaoshiung because all my mom's friends were having this reunion dinner thing. My medicine was not swallowed as successfully....
We went back to Pingtung to live with my mom's friend. They have a big house. o.o
I went to this pastor-that-used-to-be-my-church-pastor's church. And then he let us live at his house. I HAD A MEDICINE MIRACLE! I prayed, as I do before I eat, that I could swallow my medicine. AND OMG, I swallow my frigin medicine! Even one that's like ginormous! I swallowed it! All of it! o.O It's so cool. Then we went to the Dream Mall, biggest mall in Asia (so to speak). Aaaand we looked at the world games stuff. I remember the Love River. It was pretty. And fireworks! Bravo! They were awesome. :)
Yay! I slept for 13 hours! I like sleeping. :D In fact, I had this awesome/exciting dream. Before heading back to Keelung, we went to some world games place, and took a few pics. It was cool. And then we rode the High Speed Rail, a dooper fast train! It only took us like two hours, and if you look up at that map, that's pretty quick! I also got a yoyo card, or a card that I can use instead of paying for tickets all the time on trains/buses/subway (only in Taipei) which is pretty useful. So if you plan on traveling around in Taiwan a lot, get a yoyo card!
MY FIRST MOTORCYCLE RIDE THIS YEAR!!!! It was only like a minute, but it was fun! :) My cousin Michael (that's 21 or older o.o) drove me. :) Also, the bathtub broke. At least it's not the only one... and lastly, we saw this NEARLY FOUR INCH wide spider!!!! My brother tried to kill it, but it eventually went under the bed. My mom said the last time she saw it, it was heading upstairs....
We went to this closing ceremony for some summer camp. It was hot (in temperature), but I have to say, it was pretty good (the show). We also got a lucky bus! It's kinda hard to explain...so...
I GOT MY SECOND MOTORCYCLE RIDE!!!! This time it was much much longer, and plus it included all the hills and stuffs. Yay! :) I got some name stickers too, so I can stick em all over stuff that belongs to me. :D
We went to Taipei to find my dad's sister again. We ate what's voted the number one noodles in Taiwan!!!! Well, I didn't, but my mom and my brother or some of my family did. And also! I got a souvenir, a little clippy-stand thing. :D It's awesome!
[a li shan] (how you pronounce it) is a mountain. We rode a bus for six hours to get there, and when we did, overnight, we looked at the stars. It was so pretty! I can't even express it! It was just so gorgeous and cold. :D
Next morning (like at 3AM) we saw a sunrise!!!!! So cool!!! And then we walked a lot, slept a lot (or at least I did), and....I ate some sushi. Plus we rode a train. Yay.
And then we rode a bus back to Keelung and I got to watch the closing ceremony for the world games. :)
WOOT! I slept for fifteen hours! Yeahhhhhh! We rode a bus to Taipei, ate at this restaurant that seems really famous (since Australian people are going to it), and rode a bus back to Keelung.
We rode a bus to Taipei. We went to 2 malls, and the first one I liked more cuz I went in this blow-up-playset-thing. It was funnnn. There was this one spesho little girl. Teeheehee. There were also LONG WALKS and OREOS!!!!!
Next day we went to Digital Plaza and COSTCO. ??? We went to Keelung, and then the next day drove back to Taipei, and we went to.... TAIPEI 101!!!! I was on the 89th/91st/90th floors. The views were amazing! So pretty and cool and 100% real. :D
My cousin Christine came! :> I was so happy. I had a [dan bao fan] (literally means egg wrapped rice) for lunch at Taipei 101. Then we went from the computer show (which was SO crowded) to Taipei 101 to a mall called New York New York. We strode around til we got to Coldstone ice cream place and ate some really yummy ice cream! Last exciting place we went to was a school supply store with lots of interesting stuff. :)
LOL. =D I woke up at 2:30 PM!!!!! YEAHHHHH! I had a [dan bao fan] dinner. :) And then I rode a train with Christine (my cousin, remember?) to Changhua and we arrived at like 12 midnight. :)
Christine sleeptalks a lot. LOL. It's funny, though, really. :D I HAD MY THIRD MOTORCYCLE RIDE!!!!! It was awwwwwesome! And then at like 11pm we went back to Keelung. :)
Wow, I am a sleeper. I woke up at 2pm. =D Wow. There was a buffet-family-reunion-dinner thing. :) Almost the whole side of my mom's family was there. It was so yummy! I'm not gonna go into details, because I'm very tired after typing all this. >-< On the way back 'home' (heehee) we had a little dilemma. You see, my brother was sent 'home' early and he couldn't open the door because he thought my grandpa wasn't home. So he called my mom, and my mom called my aunt that took my grandpa home. She said she already dropped my grandpa off, so then my mom called my grandpa and told him to open the door. Finally my mom called my brother to let him know Grandpa was opening the door soon. LOL. Very interesting.
I went to sleep at 3am, and woke up at 5am. Last day. We ate breakfast at the airport, and said our goodbyes....
So that was my Taiwan trip. Wow. It was fun! I hope you enjoyed reading! :)
Time to talk about the rest of my summer-- so far!
Hmm... church was hilarious. Very hard to explain, so just email me if you wanna know. :) ACK! Cross country, day one, painful. Oh well, afterwards I got to have a chocolate malt from UDF and a bowl-burrito-thing from Qdoba! YUMMY.
Ooh, last Wednesday, my site finally published. It was all messed up before it did. I was so happy. And I got to talk with Yoojin after like over a month! YAY! And...Jonathan linked my site!! YAYYY!
On Thursday, we sent my mom to the airport because her boss passed away and she had to go to the funeral. Aww....
Eeep. Friday was sad. The song I'm posting made me worse, but I still listened to it because the music//beat was awesome. Click HERE to watch it! (The song is called Down by Jay Sean ft. Lil Wayne) Then on the car there were radio wars with my brother. He switched someplace, I switched back to where we originally were. Rather annoying. But he won the war. D:
There was an open house at my house (lol I made a pun!) on Saturday. This quote I'm about to write, it matched me perfectly: "It's not really happiness that makes the tears. It's everything all at once, everything that's sad, good, and wonderful. But the wonderful things mean much more than the sad things." It was something like that.... but it was just talking about how everything isn't perfect, but you're still crying because the things that seem perfect are just winning over. Yeah. And Yoojin, my awesome friend, you were a great help! Thankies!
On Sunday there were chair wars. Very funny, but weird...
Cross country yesterday! I was dying (as usual) but my legs didn't hurt, so I think I'm getting used to it, because my legs didn't hurt today either. YAYYY! I got to chat with loooooads of people. Oddly, they were all from my old school. Some were from church, but most of them were from my old school. And...hmm.. I'm a staffie on Wenganator's Site now! Yay! I'm so happy he invited me to be staffy. :) And then...hmm... I was tired.. Yeah, that's about it for yesterday.
And today! Today, I did my best in Cross Country and that's why I'm so happy. And... that's about it! I got to chat with some friends, enjoy summer, eat cookies, and live my ok-ish life. :)
HAHA. There's like 30 words underlined in red-- I'm so bad at spelling, huh? JK. It's probably a weird computer. The computer doesn't understand me.
ALSO! Important info about this website!
I FINISHED THE HOMEPAGE! I finished my credits speech, I put together a quick support picture, I finished the guides part, and I believe that's all I had to do. Yay, I finished!
ABOUT THE FUTURE! You see, school is starting soon, and well, as you can tell, I have cross country, eh? And well, I found out, it's gonna be... 2:30-4:00pm, right after school. (DON'T STALK ME.) So... that means.... not much time on the computer. Does that stink or what? Because, well, I have homework, piano, and violin too! Ok, on the bright side, Cross Country ends in like October. But still, like 2 months of no blogging//weekly topic//debate? That's kinda pitiful. So, sorry ahead of time if I don't post as much, but as you can see, I'm progressing into the age where school will kill you. JK. But still, I'll be on when I can!
Hope y'all enjoyed this dooper long post!
