you know those moments when you look back at your posts and updates and you realize all that combined is more than you update now? i just had one of those moments. and i want to make another one happen, right now. so hopefully by this year, i can reach 200 posts on the blog/et cetera page, i can make a lot of art and videos, and just find lots of meaning in what i value most.
:) ciao, joann

...without some good.as you can see, i just got home from Columbus (OJCL) Latin convention last night, and let me tell you, LATIN IS NOT DEAD. SOOOOO NOT DEAD. SAME WITH GREEK.
"Malum quidem nullum esse sine aliquo bono" See instagram posts. well, this week is pretty chill. OGT's for all the sophomores (i pity them. they be freaking out over a test that in the end, we all pass.) and i get tons of time to work on my capstone project because my teacher only teaches freshmen for her other grade who are taking the PARCC tests. yayyyyyy. learned how to find the volume of a solid revolving around an axis in calc last week! passed my calc test, too! o_0 that's all, i'm a bit sleepy (migraine coming up) have a lovely week, folks if you didn't see my lack of posts from that one week (double negatives...), i ended up having the whole week off. never, ever before in my life has such a thing happened. literally Friday morning, i thought we had a delay, but then at 6 am my mommy comes in the room, and i'm just like oh snow day? lol no surprise.
the week after that back was, needless to say, rough. i had not experienced that level of stress since sophomore year (hint hint) and thus was hit by some panic/anxiety attacks. they were later taken care of, but quite frightening while experiencing them. healing and remedy: talking to friends and un-procrastinating oneself. believe it or not, that is literally what brought me back. the week after that, (first week of March! already?!) i was a little better. by a little because my dad left for Taiwan... my lovely, adorable, sweetie of a great-grandmother passed away (February 19) at the age of 105 and he had to attend her funeral. i just missed him a lot. (he also helped me loads with my calc hw, always a plus.) teaching Sunday school again was kind of stressful. silly (pre-pubescent) 5th and 6th graders joking around with me and me temporarily forgetting what sarcasm is, and then having to discuss with a 5th grader that her 2nd grader of a brother doesn't know what sarcasm is. and then later in the week i had to set up my art show/attempt a bunch of Latin quizzes/listenings, so academically speaking it was kind of stressful not only while in the midst of the academia but also when missing Latin class two days in a row, including the weekend so technically four days in a row, and... i just landed myself in a run-on sentence. *blasts trumpet* NOW, things are treating me quite well, i think i'm at the peak of my management yay! i also added new pages to let you guys know even if i've been inactive here, i've been active elsewhere! get it? ;D now i'll go un-procrastinate myself yet again and go do the English translation of my dad's seminary project :D joann |
