Hey guys! I'm back! Ahh ~ the orchestra concert was so good. I wish I could re-live it. (and I wasn't even in it! =D) Well, I'll continue my stuff from my list from yesterday now... And the other things after .. whatever the last number was - I will write about some plans that will be happening and then some IDEAS that I have, and then some other..stuff.
Camp Joy!
--Day Two, continued#3: Wetlands & Herpetology
Hm, we first did this worksheet. Eventually after going over this worksheet we played a metamorphosis relay and I journaled all that in my camp journal and I still remember how to play, but I kinda need some drawings to explain, sooo I'm not gonna explain. Next we went to the Nature Farm and saw tons of cool animals. I felt a salamander!! It tickles. ^^; Then we went to the creek and YAY I found something - frog eggs. Our whole group together found 3 baby salamanders. They were REALLY small. And that's it for wetlands and herpetology.
#4: Evening Event
It was a Dutch Auction that had nothing Dutch to do with it. very weird!
-we had to come up w/ a name for teams. Our team name was... "Anybody wanna eat a tree?" Ih...
-We had to make this statue that could stand up by itself with all the things the teammates had to bring.
-Um, then we had to, ehh, make a rap out of one of the objects. Most groups were REALLY COOL. Some were funny too. :D we were..OK.
-Last we had to model stuff with all the items. it was sooo funny!!! =) I'm glad we did that last. Best for last, eh?
1. The breakfast was waffles, sausage, and orange juice. And I, personally, had a handful of rice krispie cereal. The lunch was mini round pizzas. I got cheese. Plus there were brownies and water. I ate with my science teacher and she touched me! :D Don't think I'm being WRONG.
2. The very first thing we did was that thing where you hold hands to form a circle and then try to move a hula hoop w/o letting go. I was one of those girls who had to hold a guy's hand. These were our times: 1 minute 19 seconds, 50 seconds, 40 seconds, 40 seconds, and 33 seconds. WHOO! Go us! Yeah!
The next we thing we did was Pipeline - you hold halves of pipes (and connect them with other people) and try to move something like a marble or golf ball around to a place. ^^; There was this really bossy guy so finally we had a team meeting and this other guy spoke out and finally our team was actually cooperating and eventually we finished - YIPPEE!
Last thing we did was Tanks and Commanders. One person from our team had to put on blindfolds and the rest of the team had to guide them (like commanders) to a ball and maybe throw it @ the other team member that also had a blindfold. When I did it, it was so scary and dark! And it was hard to hear. But this is a really nice quote from one of my teammates: 'Well you did really good and that's good so that's good and that's all that matters.' Thank you, Ellie!
And then Camp was over. =( it was so fun! When I got home I slept for 4 hours straight. :D I'm serious of course!
[YES! We are DONE with ALL of that CAMP stuff! Yayyyyy. And finally, I have decided to adjust the last section (the one I'm about to start) to just the past days, not past school days and then the weekend. It'll confuzzle me.]
The Past Days
-Um, well, I made ice cream in science, and guess what mine turned out like - NOT ICE CREAM! IT TURNED INTO SOUP!!!!! :D ^^; hehehe. It was still yummy. =)
-Hm, my church teacher (one of them) is going to Texas. Awwww, I couldn't give her a thank you note!
-Ooh! The Sunday school teacher I like more (sounds odd..) is gonna be teaching for June too! YEAH!!
-Uh well all I remember most clearly is last night - the orchestra concert. OMG it was so good. Maybe tomorrow (not today 'cause I'm too lazy ^^;) I'll copy the bulletin and then explain about each song. Wait, I'll talk about two funny thingies. 1st: this guy seemed to not know what to do so he was just roaming around the stage it was really funny :D 2nd: my friend's dad looks really old (no offense if whoever's reading this knows that I'm talking about their dad COUGH mike COUGH) so my mom wanted to see his dad and so she saw his dad, and then she started laughing like crazy 'cause he has like grey hair EVERYWHERE. :D I'm DONE!
Ideas/Plans/Other STUFF
Plans: Whoops! I'm going out of order. Oh well. Well. I was gone for a week (right?) so my weekly topic for that week I was gone is .. something to do with Mother's Day. I'm not sure what YET, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a piece of writing. Or a poem. I donno..yet. Another plan is that this week's weekly topic is... SONGS THAT I LIKE! Like, modern ones, not like Korean stuff or even that River Flows in You song I had. Hm, what other plans did I have? Oh, I already mentioned this, but I'm gonna write about each song @ the concert tomorrow. OH and I'm gonna FINALLY put that new fact right here that you people probably already forgot about. Anyway, the fact is right here: The only domestic animal that has no more of its kind in the wild are cats. from Wendy L. Thank you Wendy I love new facts! =) My last plans are to fix the webs page and to SOMETIME (I'm planning the summer :D) finish the books page. Or maybe I won't have to, 'cause I just signed up on something..hm.. And that's all my PLANS.Ideas:I NEED ideas. Like, random topics to use? Debate ideas? Sites to suggest? What should I put on my new journal's cover? (No, I can't re-use my previous one, and Yes, I finished a journal!) Ooh! One last idea: the header image. My possible choices: the first one (it was on only for 2 days), the bubbles and hearts and it was blue. BTW I took it off 'cause there was wayyy too much blue on the home page. The second one: the current one. Phew that was easy! :D The third one: a picture of a rainbow in the sky, sorta like this...
You can click the picture for a bigger (and better) version. My last (and fourth) one: bubbles, bubbles, and...BUBBLES! Ooh maybe that one 'cause it has rainbow AND bubbles! (you'll get it seriously) But I'm not sure quite yet. Maybe it'll change more in the summer...who knows?
Other STUFF: In case you haven't noticed, on the blog side bar, there is a place where some of my posts are (it's labeled joann2557)! There you can see if I've posted something new. The next one, labeled weebly, is the weebly blog. Weebly always makes new posts if something new/updates are out. So that's more for you weebly users. And the letters? Oh, they're from this cool place. I'm planning to use more of the texts there soon! (Hey who knew, another plan!) Um, I think that's enough. And I'm FINALLY DONE!!!!!! YES!!!!! Enjoy...life! Yeah see ya bye. =)~JoAnn =)~
